October 10
Deputies were dispatched to a possible domestic dispute on Rabbit Ridge Road. Once on the scene, deputies spoke with the parties and transported the complainant to Knox Community Hospital for evaluation by a behavioral health representative.

While patrolling deputies observed a vehicle on Coshocton Avenue driving without reasonable control and conducted a traffic stop. The operator was cited and the scene was clear.

October 13
A complaint of a neighbor’s turkeys being on the property of the complainant was made on Jug Run Road. A video and photo were shown to the deputy. The report will be sent to the City Law Director for review.

October 14
A deputy was dispatched to Wooster Road on a vehicle that had struck a deer. The complainant stated the deer ran out into the roadway causing him to strike the deer. A report was taken. Nothing further at this time.

While on patrol in the Centerburg area, a Deputy recognized a vehicle that was stolen from the Apple Valley area. The Deputy attempted to stop the vehicle which fled. The Deputy lost the vehicle near the Appleton area in Licking County. A short time later Licking County advised that they pursued the vehicle on North 21st Street in Newark. The vehicle was located abandoned at a residence on Derby Downs Road.

October 15
Deputies were dispatched to Sycamore Road on a civil matter. The complainant stated she was being mistreated by her landlord and wanted to report the matter. Advice was given to the complainant and a report was made. Nothing further at this time.

Deputies responded to an active disturbance taking place on West Houck Street in Centerburg, Ohio 43011. Deputies arrived on the scene and spoke with both parties. A report was filed for documentation.

October 16
A complainant called the Sheriff’s Office to report that their neighbor who has a protection order against them was outside yelling at them. The complainant stated that they had the incident on video surveillance and requested that a report be filed.

A deputy spoke to a complainant by telephone. The complainant advised that she had been scammed out of money while working her cash register.

Deputies handled a civil complaint on Appleseed Court, in Howard, Ohio 43028. A report was filed for documentation.
