September 28
A vehicle was parked in the opposing lane of traffic on Sockman Road with a male sleeping in the driver’s seat. The male was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was arrested for OVI. The male was transported to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office.

A deputy was dispatched to a residence on Columbus Road to investigate a threats call. The deputy arrived on the scene and collected evidence for a report to be made for documentation.

A school bus driver reported that a juvenile had passed the school bus on a dirt bike while the overhead lights were activated. A report was taken on the complainant’s behalf.

A complainant advised he believes someone he went to high school with is stalking him.

A complainant advised three individuals attempted to take his utility trailer from a parking lot but were unsuccessful. A report was taken on the complainant’s behalf.

A complainant advised people were destroying the roads in Pike Township with four-wheelers. The complainant requested a report for documentation.

September 29
Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Old Mansfield Road, in Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050 for a domestic violence incident. Deputies arrived on the scene and made contact with the complainant. The deputies conducted their investigation and subsequently arrested the male suspect and transported them to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies and the Fire Department were dispatched to a fire at a local park. The complainant advised that the portable toilet was on fire. Deputies and Fire personnel arrived on the scene and the fire was put out. Deputies started an investigation and a report was filed.

A deputy was advised of a theft complaint that could be handled by phone. Dispatch advised that the caller wanted to report a bicycle stolen. Dispatch transferred the caller to the deputy and the deputy spoke with them by phone.

The Knox County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a suicidal male in Apple Valley.
