Offenses

July 20
Officers responded to a residence in the 400 block of Walnut Street in reference to a disturbance. This report will be forwarded to the City Law Director’s Office for review for charges.

Units were dispatched to the 200 block of Ridgewood Avenue for a disturbance. Nothing further.

An officer responded to a business on Coshocton Avenue in reference to a theft complaint. Nothing further to report.

July 21
Officers were dispatched to a possible stabbing in the 200 block of West Curtis Street. Christopher Haven was subsequently arrested and charged with felonious assault.

July 22
An officer was on a bike patrol in the area of West Town Center located at 600 West High Street. The officer observed drug paraphernalia sitting in plain view on the passenger’s lap. Nothing forther at this time.

An officer was dispatched to Newark Road in reference to a trespassing complaint.

July 23
An officer was dispatched to Howard Street for a burglary.

July 24
Officers responded to the 200 block of East Curtis Street in reference to domestic violence. This is currently under investigation.

Officers responded to the Super 8 Motel, located at 1000 Coshocton Avenue in reference to a disturbance. Herschel Baughman was arrested and charged with criminal mischief and two counts of aggravated menacing.

Andrew Messerly was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.

Frederick Murphy was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Carley L. Ash was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Joey L. Bolton was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Tammi L. Jones was cited for driving under an FRA suspension.
Nathan E. Woodford was cited for operation at a stop sign.
Jonathon Yoder was cited for motorcycle license required.
Taylor E. Martin was cited for driving under an FRA suspension and fictitious plates.

July 23
James J. King was cited for driving under an FRA suspension.
Robert W. Wilson was cited for stopping after accident on public roads or highways.
Joshua J. Etue was cited for operator/chauffeur license required.
Darryl K. Shipp was cited for DUS – driving under OVI suspension.

Austin B. Beaver was cited for drive in marked/continuous lines.

Herschel A. Baughman was charged with aggravated menacing and criminal mischief.
Jamie E. Oakes was charged with resisting arrest and obstructing official business.
Jackson J. Slater was charged with a probation violation.
