◾ The wingspan of the cecropia moth can reach 6 inches, making this distinctive moth the largest regularly occurring moth in Ohio.
◾ Like all the giant silkmoths they do not feed as adults and rarely live longer than a week.
◾ The huge (6-inch long) caterpillars resemble bluish-green sausages with rows of multicolored tubercules
