July 9
A complainant wanted to discuss options about an individual showing up to her apartment in Mount Vernon and her previous work location in Mount Vernon uninvited. A deputy advised the complainant what her options were and to contact the Mount Vernon Police and her landlord to obtain a No Trespass on the individual.

A complainant advised someone took his Pelican kayak from his property.

July 10
A complainant contacted the Knox County Sheriff’s Office regarding an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. A deputy made contact over the phone and a report was taken.

A complainant reported that her license plate was stolen or lost during the month of April 2022. A report was taken on the complainant’s behalf and the license plate was entered into L.E.A.D.S. (Law Enforcement Automated Data System) as stolen or lost.

A complainant advised she has been harassed by the Suspect via text message and email.

Deputies received a theft call. Deputies spoke with the complainant over the phone. Deputies arrived at the residence on Columbus Road, gathered photos, and cleared the residence.
