Offenses

June 22
An officer was dispatched to a theft complaint at a residence on North Mulberry Street. An investigation is pending.

An officer responded to McGibney Road in reference to a domestic violence complaint. Bailey Snyder was subsequently arrested for domestic violence and assault. Bailey was transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.

Officers responded to the 8800 block of Granville Road in reference to a vandalism complaint. Nothing further.

June 23
Units were dispatched to Dollar General on Coshocton Avenue for a disturbance. Nothing further.

Officers responded to the 10 block of Delano Street to investigate a suspicious person complaint. Nothing further.

An officer was fueling cruiser #3 at West Town Center located at 600 West High Street. The officer observed an unknown individual fueling his black GMC at the nearby pump, then get into the passenger seat but no driver. The officer rant the license plate and the owner was not valid. Nothing further at this time.

June 24
A business on Coshocton Avenue reported a shoplifting with a male, who was later identified as Nicholas Sheets. Nicholas admitted to taking the merchandise and was issued a summons for Theft (ORC. 2913.02a1). A report was filed.

Units were dispatched to the 100 block of Newark Road, in reference to a theft complaint. Nothing further.

Units were dispatched to Greenwood Avenue in reference to property damage.

Units were dispatched to the 100 block of Mansfield Road in reference to a disturbance. One male was incarcerated. This case will be forwarded to the Knox County Prosecutor’s Office for further review.

June 25
A female who lives on Sychar Road reported fraud and someone was using her personal information. No suspect at this time. A report was filed.

June 26
Units responded to the area of Walnut Street in reference to an assault. A female suspect left the scene but was later located and arrested.

An officer responded to the area of Mulberry Street in reference to an abandoned vehicle sitting in the roadway. On the Spot Towing Service responded to the scene and towed the vehicle away.

An officer made contact with a complainant by phone in reference to her vehicle being taken by her son. An investigation is pending.

Units responded to the area of Speedway, 1 Columbus Road, in reference to a disturbance. A report was filed for documentation.

Zeshawn B. Sharif was cited for starting and backing vehicles and oversize/weight vehicle.
Ryan M. Wolfe was cited for no operator’s license.
Juan D. Medel was cited for operator/chauffeur license required.
