June 17
Deputies received a complaint of threats over social media. A report was taken on the complainant’s behalf.
Deputies responded to the 100 block of Meadow Lane after getting Intel that two missing juveniles were at the residence. Deputies did find two missing juveniles at the residence. A report will be made to document the incident.
June 18
A deputy was flagged down while working a special duty at the Heart of Ohio Festival in Centerburg in reference to a possible assault. The victim was unable to identify the suspect but requested a report be completed for documentation.
A complainant contacted the Knox County Sheriff’s Office regarding a disturbance. Deputies arrived and a report was taken.
An unknown person turned in a lost item found at Centerburg Park. The item was collected and placed into evidence for safekeeping.
A dispatch advised that BHP requested deputies to respond and assist with the Pink Slip of a female at her residence. Deputies and BHP arrived at the residence and the female was transported to the hospital for evaluation. A report was completed for documentation.
A deputy was dispatched to a 911 call on Johnville Road in regards to a civil dispute.
Deputies were dispatched to the Dollar General Store in reference to a female having a mental episode. A report was taken for documentation.
June 19
Deputies received a fraud complaint. Deputies filed a report on the complainant’s behalf.
While assisting on a traffic stop on Coshocton Road near Depolo Road a deputy located two juveniles riding an atv four-wheeler Westbound on Coshocton Road. The deputy was able to locate and make contact with the individuals at the Premier movie theater on Upper Gilchrist Road and determined that they had snuck out and were attempting to ride to a residence on East Ohio Street. The deputy was able to make contact with the Juvenile’s parents and advised them that a report would be written and sent down to the Juvenile Probation Office for review of possible charges for the unruly Juvenile.
June 20
Deputies were dispatched to Kenyon College on a possible theft of a vehicle. Kenyon Campus Safety Officer’s called in stating that they observed a male individual near a residence hall loading dock and attempted to make contact. While attempting to make contact, they observed several food items laying on the ground that belonged to a food truck business that caters to the college. Kenyon Campus Safety Officer then advised that the male individual fled the area running north and disappeared. Deputies took arrived on the scene and collected statements and photographs for a report to be written.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence on South Market Street in Martinsburg on a possible missing juvenile. A complainant called in stating that her granddaughter, who lives at her residence, had left the residence on June 19, 2022, between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. and did not return home. Due to recent history involving the juvenile being unruly, contact was made with the Juvenile Probation Office and determined that a report would be sent to their office for review of possible charges for the unruly juvenile. The juvenile was also entered into
LEADS as missing.
