Offenses

June 2
Units were dispatched to Brown Street for an active burglary.

A theft was reported on Franklin Street.

Units were dispatched to the 400 block of West Chestnut Street about a welfare check. Upon arrival, units made contact with two females. A strong odor of marijuana was detected inside the vehicle. A vehicle search was conducted and evidence was collected. Summons were issued to the females. Nothing further.

June 3
Units were dispatched to an apartment on McGibney Road for a drug overdose. Upon arrival, units made contact with the complainant and a male who was overdosing. Mount Vernon Fire Department medics arrived on the scene and the male declined to be taken to Knox Community Hospital. This report will be forwarded to the Mount Vernon Police Department detectives for review.

June 4
A black mountain bicycle was reported stolen from Plaza Drive. The suspect is unknown.

A male was observed on a bicycle with no lights. The male was arrested on an outstanding warrant. Nothing further at this time.

June 5
Units responded to West Burgess Street in reference to a domestic. Nothing further at this time.
