MV Schools Summer Lunch Program

Mount Vernon City Schools Food Service FREE SUMMER LUNCH PROGRAM will begin June 1.  Lunches are served Monday through Friday from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at two locations:  Dan Emmett Elementary, 108 Mansfield Ave., and The Knox Learning Center, 900 West Vine Street.

All lunches must be consumed on-site.
The children’s lunch menu includes a choice of 2 different main courses such as cold deli sandwiches, string cheese with muffin, or peanut butter sandwiches. Other healthy choices include fresh vegetables, fruit, and milk with each meal.
Lunches will not be served on June 18 and July 4.
MVCSD serves all children, regardless of need, between the ages of 18 months and 18 years of age.  Developmentally disabled students up to age 22 are also eligible if they are enrolled in a school program during the school year.
For the past 22 years, MVCSD food service staff has had the pleasure of providing nutritious lunches to the children of Mount Vernon.
