Lanning’s Foods has multiple fulltime positions available in our wholesale division, including cutting, grinding, slicing, packing, receiving and loading raw and cooked meats.
These wholesale positions function from our Newark Road location in Mt. Vernon but are performed in a warehouse/factory type setting.
Although experience in the food industry is a plus, we are mainly looking for reliable persons that can learn food-safe principles, pay attention to detail, and work in a cold damp environment. Some heaving lifting may be required. The ideal candidate should be a quality team player with a good work record, must be able follow both written and verbal instructions, display a positive attitude, and learn and follow food-safe practices. We will train you in all aspects of food handling.
All wholesale positions are Monday thru Friday, have a set start time, with a shift completion time that will fluctuate depending on daily needs. Most often these shifts are between 8 – 10 hours, but are occasionally 12 hours. This means you will get over-time pay weekly and have your weekends off!
