We are a small Christian school in Mount Vernon that is looking for a dedicated, hard-working, and positive person of integrity and ingenuity to be the caretaker of our historical building and our grounds. This would be a full-time paid position. We are looking for someone experienced in general carpentry, repairs, painting, plumbing, electrical, and whatever else is needed to maintain our building’s interior and exterior. This person would also need knowledge of and the ability to maintain our lawn, flowerbeds and scrubs, and keep our sidewalks and two-car parking lot cleared of snow in the winter with provided equipment.
Ideally, this person will also double as our transportation aide picking up and delivering a handful of students as needed in our van.
All candidates for this job will be subject to a background check and a drug test and would need to be a nonsmoker.
