April 27
A deputy observed a yellow Ford Mustang sitting along Duff Street near Newcastle Road. The vehicle was unoccupied and disabled. Contact was made with the registered owner to get the vehicle removed. The vehicle was still disabled in the area on 04/29/2022 and was towed by Bluebaugh’s Body and Frame.

April 28
A complainant advised that sometime between 4/21/22 and 4/23/22 person(s) unknown cut two catalytic converters off of his pickup truck while it was parked at the Brown Township House.

April 29
While Deputies were on the scene of a traffic accident a set of keys was found by one of the EMS personnel. The keys were turned over to a Deputy and a lost property report was taken.

A complaint was made of a bucket truck being vandalized from a previous night and pictures were taken of the damage.

Deputies were dispatched to a residential hall on Kenyon campus. The deputies arrived on the scene and made contact with Kenyon campus safety and a male that was threatening suicide. Deputies spoke with the male and the male decided to be voluntarily transported by EMS to the Knox Community Hospital to seek mental health services. While at the hospital a deputy completed a pink slip form and gave it to hospital staff due to the male’s suicidal comments. The male was released to the care of KCH staff.

April 30
A complainant contacted Knox County Sheriff’s Office regarding a disturbance.

A Knox County Sheriff’s Office Deputy was dispatched to a business on Harcourt Road in reference to a theft. The victim requested a report be generated for documentation and extra patrol in the area.
