April 26
A complainant contacted Knox County Sheriff’s Office regarding a disturbance. Deputies made contact with both parties and a report was taken.

A complainant called to report that her ex-husband sent her images of self-inflicted injuries. Deputies responded and the individual was taken to the hospital for a mandated mental health evaluation. A report was completed for documentation.

On Complainant contacted Knox County Sheriff’s Office regarding a trash complaint.

April 27
Deputies were dispatched to a Mount Vernon residence on a domestic violence. When deputies arrived they spoke with all family members and were advised that the incident was only verbal. A report was taken and will be forwarded to Adult Protective Services.

Deputies were dispatched to the area of Laymon Road and Gambier Road on a report of a kayak located in the waterway unattended.

A complainant advised that her elderly mother, the victim, received several phone calls from an out-of-state subject that had previously committed fraud on the victim.

Deputies responded to a call regarding a disturbance between two juveniles. A report was filed and will be forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office for review of potential charges.

A complainant came to the Sheriff’s Office to report that his identity was stolen.

A caller reported a vehicle is still on his property after a 24-hour hold. The vehicle was towed without incident.
