Civil – in the 200 block of East Walnut St.

April 18
Officer found an unsecured door of a local business – North Market St.

April 19
DARE officer conducted two DARE classes for the first-grade students

April 20
Responded to a domestic violence call – 29000 block of Rabbit Ridge Rd.
Suspicious person – in the 10 block of South Market St.

April 21
Loud music complaint – Main Street, Brinkhaven
The K-9 unit assisted the Fredericktown police in attempting to track an individual – Sparta Rd.
An officer observed a vehicle parked on the roadway and upon checking discovered an injured dog but no one with it. Animal control responded – in the 13000 block of Old Mansfield Rd.
A South Market Street business reported that persons were rummaging through their dumpster. The persons left prior to the officer’s arrival

April 22
Officer conducted a wellness check on an individual – East Walnut St.
The K-9 unit conducted a vehicle sweep to detect the presence of illegal drugs/contraband for the Mt. Vernon Police w/positive hit – in the 600 block of High St.

April 23
Suspicious vehicle w/persons – Bridge of Dreams, Brinkhaven
Suspicious vehicle w/persons – Tiger Valley Rd./Hunter Rd.
Animal complaint – in the 700 block of South Market St.
Harassment – in the 100 block of Linwood St.
A DPD officer along with outside law enforcement agencies responded to a call where a report of shots was fired – in the 30000 block of Rabbit Ridge Rd.
Trespassing – in the 16000 block of Millersburg Rd

April 24
Theft of cell phone – in the 200 block of Plum St.
Missing person – Brinkhaven Rd./Alum Rock Rd.
Suspicious person – in the 10 block of North Market St.

April 25
Michael A. Artz age 50 of Lucasville was issued a traffic citation for a stop sign violation
Suspicious persons – in the 15000 block of Danville-Jelloway Rd.
Konstantin Nakovski age 40 of Solan was issued a traffic citation for a stop sign violation
