Resident pays $10 per load – City pays the rest.
Methods of payment: Check/Money Order*, Credit or Debit – NO CASH
*Money Order must be for $10.00 exactly.

- An ID will be required to verify residency in Mount Vernon.
- No hazardous materials, yard waste, roofing, concrete or tires will be accepted.
- All loads must be weighed on the scale, so residents are required to go directly to the back gate behind the building.
Times to drop off waste are as follows:
Monday through Saturday…May 9 – 14
Monday – Friday …………. 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM
Saturday ……………………. 8:00 AM to NOON
Scales will close PROMPTLY at these times NO EXCEPTIONS!
