Offenses

April 13
A rototiller was reported stolen.

Units were dispatched to Shirley Avenue for an assault that took place at the residence. This incident is under investigation.

A vehicle was reported stolen from a residence on Howard Street. Investigation pending.

An officer responded to a vandalism complaint on Mansfield Avenue.

A female came into the lobby of the Mount Vernon Police Station at 5 North Gay Street to report a domestic violence situation.

April 14
An officer was dispatched to a residence on West Burgess Street in reference to a theft. The complainant stated an unknown male stole an exhaust system and then left in a silver van. An investigation is pending. This report will be supplemented with any new information.

Units were dispatched to the Knox Area Transit Office on Columbus Road. A report was taken. This incident is under investigation.

April 15
A vehicle that was parked on North Gay Street was towed after three parking tickets were issued. The vehicle was impounded and taken to a wrecker impound lot. A report was filed.

An officer responded to Longitude Drive on an alleged fraud complaint.

An officer responded to the Mount Vernon Police Department, located at 5 North Gay Street, on a theft complaint.

An officer responded to a business on Coshocton Avenue on a report of damage to a vehicle. A report was filed.

Officers responded to West High Street on a report of a disturbance. One male suspect was arrested, given medical treatment, and transported to the Knox County Jail.

An officer received a report of two bicycles being stolen from North Norton Street.

An officer was notified by dispatch that a female would like to speak to an officer over the phone in reference to a fraud. The officer spoke to the individual on the phone about a fraud. A report was taken.

Units were dispatched to East Burgess Street for a disturbance.

April 16
An officer responded to an address on East Burgess Street on a report of an assault. A report was filed. Report forwarded to City Law Director for review.

An officer was dispatched to a disturbance on Venture Drive. Upon my arrival, the officer made contact with the parties involved and gathered information. Information was given to both parties. No charges were filed.

April 17
A theft was reported on Follin Avenue.

Samantha L. Cunningham was charged with illegal use or possession of drugs.

April 15
Allan J. Tolbert Jr. was charged with aggravated menacing.
Cullen P. Rowe was cited for operation at a stop sign.
Martha F. Bush was cited for 25mph except State Route outside business districts and alleys.
Shad W. Bevington was cited for 25mph except State Route outside business districts and alleys.
Abigail M. Hagy was cited for 25mph except State Route outside business districts and alleys.
Jean Nanissour was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead and driving under an FRA suspension.
Georgia Robertson was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead

April 16
Lori A. Troyer driving under suspension/revocation.
Daniel Sullivan driving under the influence.
Ecoiya D. Barlow was cited for child support/unpaid fines/license.

April 17
