GENERAL SUMMARY:
Position is responsible for the oversight of all manufacturing, including production, engineering, supply chain, materials and ERP system integration. In addition, the position has complete authority and responsibility for all buildings and grounds as it relates to manufacturing and the flow of materials.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Lead managers of manufacturing, purchasing, and program management departments.
- Ensure safe and productive work environment.
- Ensure achievement of customer delivery and quality objectives.
- Achieve continuous improvement in financial performance.
- Achieve growth objectives.
- Establish work environment and processes to maximize organizational effectiveness.
- Implement a TQM oriented company culture.
- Develop infrastructure to support vision and mission.
- Develop and manage annual & long range business plans.
SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Execute and improve the quality management system.
- Establish working relationships aimed at customer satisfaction.
EDUCATIONAL & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.S. Engineering or Manufacturing discipline; MBA (preferred)
- Continuous education, Lean Manufacturing, TQM Supply Chain, effective labor relations, MRP II, sales & market analysis, standard costs, direct costs, capital planning, advanced quality tools, organization of design.
EQUIPMENT & MACHINE SKILLS:
- Solid Mechanical and Manufacturing understanding
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Materials Manager, Purchasing Manager, Operations Personnel
