Offenses

March 2
A deputy responded to Knox Community Hospital, 1330 Coshocton Avenue, in reference to a male causing a disturbance in the emergency room parking lot. A report was taken.

A deputy received an Inoperable Motor Vehicle Removal Request from a Code Enforcement Officer. The deputy responded to the address on the removal request and the vehicle was towed by Blubaugh’s Towing.

A deputy was dispatched to Foundation Park, at 175 South Norton Street, for a safe that was located on the lake ice. The item was recovered. Nothing further at this time.

March 3
A deputy was dispatched to Baker’s IGA at 524 South Main Street for a theft.

Units were dispatched to the Follin Avenue Apartments for a neighbor disturbance.

March 4
A female who lives on Howard Street reported that her garage was broken into within the last week. No suspects at this time. Report filed.
A deputy responded to the Grand Hotel, located at 12 Public Square, on a fraud complaint. A report was filed for this alleged incident. This investigation has been forwarded to the Mount Vernon Police Detective Division for further investigation.

March 5
Deputies were dispatched to the 900 block of West High Street for an active burglary.

A deputy was dispatched to Memorial Park, located at 255 Mount Vernon Avenue, in reference to a theft. Nothing further at this time.

March 6
Units were dispatched to the 900 block of West High Street for an assault. A report was taken and a statement was collected.

March 7
Officers responded to North Main Street in reference to a suspicious person. Upon arrival, David Cross was located in a parked vehicle that did not belong to him. Cross was issued a summons for vehicle trespass ORD:303.09(a) and criminal trespass ORC:2911.21 (A)(1) and released. Nothing further to report.

Jordan M. Collins was cited for failure to control/weaving course.

Genevieve J. Daniels was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Heather A. Posey was cited for changing lanes without safety.
Ronald J. Rahn was cited for obey traffic control devices.
Shane N. Shaffer was cited for expired license plates.
Darlene S. Cross was cited for illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia and expired license plates.
Gregory V. Graham was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Levi A. Stacy was cited for DUS 12 point suspension.

March 5
Sebastian S. Ellis was cited for temporary permit without a licensed driver and exhaust system required.
Joseph M. Gibson was cited for DUS Driving under OVI suspension.
Emma Markum was cited for operation at a stop sign.

March 6
Kyle L. Fawcett was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Ryan D. Dewyze was cited for fictitious plates.
Adam S. Hartzler was cited for operation at a stop sign.
