Wildlife Wednesday – The White-Footed Deermouse

Welcome back to Wildlife Wednesday from your Ohio Division of Wildlife as we spotlight the white-footed deermouse.
This mammal Inhabits a variety of areas but is most often found in woody or brushy areas. They are also good swimmers.
This mouse produces two to four litters per year during the breeding season, which occurs between March and June. A litter of two to six young are born after a gestation period of 22 to 28 days.
