Offenses

February 16
Units were dispatched to take a report of theft from a vehicle that occurred on East Burgess Street.

Units were dispatched to a residence on Emmet Drive for a theft report.  At this time the investigation is pending.

Units responded to Old Delaware Road in reference to an overdose. The Mount Vernon Medics transported the female to KCH for treatment. Investigation continues.

February 17
Officers were dispatched to The Main Place located at 117 West High Street Mount Vernon, Ohio on a disturbance. Contact was made with Brian Spicer and he was subsequently issued a Summons In Lieu of Arrest for Criminal Mischief.

February 18
Units were dispatched to Town Center Market located at 600 West High Street for a theft.  The officer’s body camera was active during this investigation.

An officer was advised that a Property Maintenance Enforcement Officer requested a vehicle be towed from Howard Street.  The body camera was active.

An officer responded to Concord Court on an alleged breaking and entering complaint.  A report was filed for this intent.  The suspect was unknown at the time of this report.  This investigation has been closed.

Officers were dispatched to the area of Sychar Road and Coshocton Avenue in reference to a male passed out in the driver’s seat while sitting at a red light.  Nathan Landis was subsequently arrested and charged with OVI.  Nothing further to report.

February 19
A male reported that his ex-girlfriend stole money from him.  A report was filed.  The report was forwarded to the City Law Director for review.
