Traveling Animal Farm Exhibit

The Little Buckeye Children’s Museum announced the debut of a NEW Traveling Animal Farm Exhibit thanks to the generosity and support of the Malabar Farm Foundation and the Marvin Memorial Library. This new traveling exhibit will reside in the children’s department of the Marvin Memorial Library in Shelby, OH through March 2022. After it’s 2-month exhibition at the library, it will be available for booking around Richland County to other libraries, museums, schools, and daycares.
The Malabar Farm Foundation Traveling Animal Farm Exhibit will consist of a pretend animal pen and a chicken coop which house stuffed farm animals, such as chicken, sheep, pigs, cows and horses, and a table for playing with a toy barn and plastic farm animals. The display will also include farmer and farm animal costumes, an array of pretend farmer’s tools, and pretend chicken eggs to collect. This exhibit is custom built to the perfect height specifications for a child between the ages of 4 and 8 years old and is completely ADA accessible. This exhibit will also feature a selection of farm-themed children’s books specially curated by the Marvin Memorial Library Children’s Department to promote literacy.
