February 16
Unit One was traveling north on Huffman Road Unit Two was eastbound on Columbus Road. Unit One failed to stop for the stop sign at Huffman Road and Columbus Road. Unit One struck Unit Two on the passenger’s side of the vehicle.

A complainant called to report a disturbance where multiple people were assaulting their neighbor. Deputies responded and made contact with the potential victim who advised that there was no physical altercation but there was a verbal argument. Deputies then made contact with the complainant and a report was completed for documentation.

A complainant called to report a catalytic converter was stolen from their van. The complainant spoke with a deputy and a report was taken for their documentation.

Toby Holt was located and arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Knox County Court of Common Pleas. Toby was transported to the Knox County Jail where he was released to jail staff.

February 17
A complainant advised her ex-boyfriend has been harassing her via text messaging and Facebook messenger. The complainant advised she wanted a report on file for documentation.

A complainant called to report that the non-offense victim was acting strange and in need of assistance.

Unit 1 was traveling westbound on Gilchrist Road near Carding Mill Road when a deer jumped out in the lane of travel. Unit 1 struck the deer. Unit 1 was then struck by a separate deer shortly after striking the first deer.

Knox County Sheriff’s Office deputies were advised of a residential fire on Penlawn Drive.
