We are happy to announce our new ride company this year for June 16, 17 and 18, 2022! Chicketti Family Amusements whose goal is to provide the highest level of safety and customer care. They continuously take their safety program and responsibilities as an amusement ride provider very seriously, giving them an outstanding safety record.They invest in safety by the use of x-ray and sonic testing equipment to inspect the structural integrity of their equipment. These state of the art techniques assure that structural failure is virtually eliminated.
They work closely with the state inspectors, as well as third party inspectors, to assure nothing gets over looked. They also have in house ride inspections to be completed by their ride managers before they operate daily. Doing these things help give them and our committee the peace of mind that they have taken every step available to insure the safety of their rides.
They utilize brightly colored, easy to read signs at their ticket box as well as at each ride to communicate height and weight requirements. It is important for patrons to understand that the ride manufacturers and insurance companies establish the height and weight requirements in order to ensure the safety of their riders.
It is just as important that we have safe rides as it is to have safe riders. Here are some guidelines on how to be a safe rider:
- KEEP hands, arms and legs inside ride at all times.
- USE safety equipment such as a seat belt, shoulder harness or lap bar when provided.
- STAY in ride until it comes to a complete stop.
- READ posted rules.
- OBSERVE age, height and weight restrictions.
- FOLLOW instructions of ride operator.
