Offenses

January 26
An officer was dispatched to 5 North Gay Street in reference to telecommunication harassment. Nothing further at this time.

Town Center Shell, located on North Sandusky Street, reported a male suspect had stolen merchandise from the store. Denny Dilldine was identified as the suspect. Dilldine was issued two summons in lieu of arrest for theft and criminal trespass.

January 27
An officer responded to the Mount Vernon Police Department, located at 5 North Gay Street, on an alleged fraud complaint. A report was filed for this alleged incident. the complainant was referred to the Ohio Attorney General’s Office for the complaint. This investigation has been closed.

An officer received a complaint of a theft that occurred at the Super 8 Motel, located at 1000 Coshocton Avenue. A report was filed for this alleged incident.

January 28
An officer was dispatched to 5 North Gay Street for a theft complaint. The complainant advised that she had her debit card stolen. No charges have been filed at this time. The incident is under investigation.

January 29
An officer responded to Parrot Street in reference to a disturbance. A male resident was arrested for domestic violence and menacing. Nothing further at this time.

January 30
An officer handled a theft complaint on Walnut Street.

Jordan E. Stratton was cited for no operator’s license and failure to yield.
Damien M. Rice was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.

Hezekiah S. Yoder was cited for operation of a motor vehicle in violation of OL.
Gregory Stoutenburgh was cited for expired or unlawful license plates.
Christopher W. Fletcher was cited for red light.
Megan S. Wolfe was cited for expired license plates.

January 28
Wesley A. Addy was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Benjamin Cheeseboro was cited for failure to control.
William T. Zedekar was cited for driving under OVI suspension.
Austin J. McVay was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.

Fletcher Potes was charged with menacing and domestic violence.
Seana D. Cornell was cited for right of way when turning left.
Cody W. Hunter was cited for display of license plates and validation stickers.
