The Program Assistant position assists the 4-H Educator with the
planning, conducting, and follow-up of the 4-H Program in Knox County. Specifically, the PA will support the 4-H Educator’s efforts to build and maintain the volunteer database; work with youth and volunteers throughout county 4-H activities (ie. Jr. Fairboard, school enrichment, 4-H clubs, etc.); support and strengthen 4-H clubs and 4-H volunteers; implement junior fair activities and other related county 4-H programs. The PA serves as a recognized leader at 4-H volunteer or youth programs and events; actively work to diversify program participation consistent with OSU Extension’s AA/EEO policy. Assist with the promotion of the 4-H program through marketing and social media venues.

Extension Program Assistant Requires a High School Diploma

Pay will be $15.00/$16.00 per hour
