January 19
Unit 1 while traveling north on Monroe Mills Road, in Howard Ohio, did strike a fallen tree. Unit 1 then drove off the right side of the road striking the ditch. Unit 1 did have inoperable damage to the front right corner and right wheel as well as damage to the undercarriage. Unit 1 was towed.

A complainant called and reported that her juvenile stepdaughter did not come home from school. A deputy responded and an investigation was initiated. A report was completed for documentation and the missing juvenile was entered into LEADS and a BOLO was released.

A deputy was dispatched to a location on Coshocton Ave, Howard Ohio, 43028 on the report of a fight. Dispatch advised that the suspect had left the scene, but the victim was still at the location. Deputies responded and met with several individuals.

January 20
A complainant contacted the Knox County Sheriff’s Office and wanted to file a report about a possible violation of a protection order. A deputy responded to the scene and gathered a statement from the victim. A report will be made and sent to the City Law Director’s office for review.

A complainant called to report that her foster child left the residence in an unknown vehicle with an unknown person. The complainant requested a report for documentation and that the juvenile is entered into LEADS and BOLO is released.

January 21
Deputies were dispatched to a training facility on Coshocton Road to recover counterfeit money. Deputies arrived on the scene, collected the money for evidence, and placed it in evidence at the Knox County Sheriff’s Office.

An anonymous caller stated that people were breaking into a residence on Columbus Road. Knox County Deputies and Mount Vernon Police Officers responded and detained three people inside the residence.
