December 16
A juvenile caller reported that their juvenile friend made specific threats of suicide but they did not know the suicidal subject’s address or location. A deputy advised dispatch to ping the suicidal subject’s phone. The phone pinged outside of Knox County. The deputy advised dispatch to contact another subject with the same last name which was a possible relative. Dispatch made contact with the suicidal juvenile’s grandmother and she advised that the suicidal subject lived outside Knox County. All information was passed onto the Law Enforcement agency of that jurisdiction.

A deputy was dispatched to the area of Wiggin Street Elementary School for a juvenile who ran away from the school. The deputy responded to the area and located the juvenile walking down the street. Contact was made with the juvenile as well as school staff.

December 17
An employee from the Health Department reported a male subject who was having suicidal thoughts. Upon arrival, the male was pink-slipped and taken to KCH without incident.

Deputies arrested Richard Keylor at his residence on a capias warrant out of Knox County Juvenile Court.

December 18
Kenyon Campus Safety contacted the Knox County Sheriff’s Office regarding drug paraphernalia that needed to be collected and placed into evidence for destruction.

A complainant called and reported that the business’s storage shed was broken into and items were stolen. A report was made on the victim and complainant’s behalf.

December 19
Unit 1 was traveling southbound on Zolman Road, south of Leedy Road, when it drove off the roadway to the right into a ditch then struck a culvert.

Kenyon Campus Safety reported they had located drug paraphernalia on Kenyon property. The paraphernalia was collected and placed into evidence for destruction.

A complainant advised he observed a white male stealing a catalytic converter from one of his work vans. The complainant advised the suspect left abruptly as he observed him. A report was taken on the complainant’s behalf.

December 20
A complainant called for a squad to respond to her residence after she woke up with cuts on her head and face. Medics requested deputies respond to investigate the incident because of a possible assault the victim was alleging. The victim was interviewed and a report was written to document the incident.
