Knox County Sheriff’s Report – Dec 16, 2021

December 14
A Knox County Sheriff’s Deputy was transferred a call in reference to a possible Identity Fraud. The deputy spoke with the complainant who said that a loan for a large amount of money was taken out in their name. The Deputy gave the complainant advice and a report was filed.

December 15
Deputies were dispatched to Fredericktown, Ohio, on a burglary. The office at the address had been broken into and cash from a desk drawer had been taken. An attempt to obtain fingerprints was made but deputies were not able to get any clear prints. Photos were taken of the damage, and a report was taken.

A complainant reported her ex-husband is harassing her on a talk app through the courts. The complainant feels the messages are harassing and threatening in nature. A report is being done for documentation.

A complainant reported that sometime overnight person(s) unknown entered her garage and removed items.

Deputies were dispatched to a business on Cassell Road on a possible burglary. The complainant called in advising that during the night, an individual broke into their business and stole items.
A statement and photographs were collected on-scene and a report was written.
