December 8
A complainant advised that when he returned home, his truck, firearms, ammo, and various other tools and electronics had been taken. A report was made and the vehicle entered into LEADS.

While traveling west on Gambier Road in Mount Vernon, Ohio, Unit 2 stopped behind an unknown truck making a left turn into a private drive on Gambier Road and was struck in the rear by Unit 1, an unidentified silver sedan. Unit 1 then backed up and drove around Unit and continued west on Gambier Road. Unit 2 had functional damage to the rear and was towed. Damage to Unit 1 was unknown.

A complainant reported her ex-boyfriend was at her home and there is a protection order against him. Upon arrival, the ex-boyfriend, Christopher M. Weaver, was located at the residence and he was arrested and transported to Knox County Jail without incident.

A complainant called and reported that someone had vandalized their window with an unknown item. A report was made on the complainant’s behalf.

A complainant called the Sheriff’s Office to report an incident of domestic violence.

Unit 1 was traveling westbound on Quarry Chapel Road. While negotiating a curve, Unit 1 slid on ice and left the roadway, striking a tree.

Unit 1 was driving north on Jug Run Road and slid off the roadway due to ice and struck the ditch, causing disabling damage to Unit 1.
