Knox County Postal Workers Picking up Donations for Food for the Hungry on Friday, Dec. 10

MOUNT VERNON — Postal workers throughout Knox County are supporting Food For The Hungry making it even more convenient for you to give.

If you can’t make it to a collection point on Friday, Dec. 10, no problem! Simply leave an envelope in your mailbox with your cash or check donation. Please write “Food For The Hungry Donation” on the outside of the envelope. Checks should be made payable to Food For The Hungry. Our wonderful Knox County postal workers will pick up the envelopes as they come by to deliver your regular Friday mail. It’s that easy; and they won’t charge you any postage!

Please note, postal workers will pick up food or monetary donations.

Watch the drive live on Friday, Dec. 10 from 9 a.m.–5 p.m. at mvnu.tv and listen live at 100.9FM and 13 WMVO. Updates will also be shared all day on 90.9FM WNZR and Super Q 93.7 WQIO. For more information, to volunteer, or to donate, go to foodforthehungrycares.org
