Knox Area Transit Collecting for Food for the Hungry

Knox Area Transportation will have donation boxes in support of Food For The Hungry on their buses from now until Dec. 10. Donations given before Dec. 10, on the KAT buses will only accept non-perishable food items.

On Dec. 10, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., their buses will be parked at the following collection points for the day of the drive, collecting both food and monetary donations:

Hometown Market in Danville—14800 Millersburg Road

Red Rover at the entrance of Apple Valley— 21971 Coshocton Road

Fredericktown Belle Store—300 W. Sandusky St.

Centerburg Hometown Market—3895 Columbus Road

FFTH has set a goal of $275,000 for the 2021 campaign. You can get involved by donating online or at one of the 12 collection points throughout Knox County on Friday, Dec. 10. Visit www.FoodForTheHungryCares.org to donate and find collection points, volunteering opportunities and upcoming events.
