Offenses

November 3
Units were dispatched to a residence on East Pleasant Street in reference to a domestic disturbance. Contact was made with all parties as well as juvenile probation. After investigation, a juvenile was transported to Knox Community Hospital for a mental evaluation. This report will be forwarded to the juvenile prosecutor as well a Knox County Children Services.

An officer handled a fraud complaint at the Mount Vernon Police Department.

November 5
An officer responded to West Chestnut Street in reference to a disturbance. As a result of the investigation, Jacob Donalon was arrested and charged with domestic violence and menacing. The investigation continues.

Officers responded to East Vine Street on a reported burglary. Damage was caused to the side door facing Center Street. A report was taken and the residence was searched.

An officer responded to Ash Street Apartments on a report of a theft.
An investigation is pending.

An officer responded to Miller Avenue on a report of vandalism. This report was taken for documentation purposes.

November 6
Knox Community Hospital reported that a male subject in the emergency room had drugs in his property. This report will be forwarded to the Knox County Prosecutor for review for charges.

An officer responded to Mitchell Avenue on a report of domestic violence. This report will be forwarded to the Mount Vernon City Law Director’s Office to review for charges.

An officer responded to a business on Coshocton Avenue in reference to a shoplifting complaint. The complainant reported a male and a female filled up a shopping cart and pushed it out the front exit without offering payment. A report was taken and will be forwarded to the City Law Director for charges.

November 7
An officer was dispatched to a business on Coshocton Avenue in reference to a theft complaint. The complainant stated she left her cell phone sitting on a couch and a female picked it up. An investigation is pending. this report will be supplemented with additional information.

An officer responded to Coshocton Avenue on a reported theft of a firearm. Upon arrival, the officer spoke to the complainant, who completed a written statement and report. The firearm will be entered into LEADS as stolen.

An officer handled a theft from a vehicle complaint by phone at the Mount Vernon Police Department.

Ricki D. Pintell was cited for driving onto the road/duty to yield.
Julie D. Welch was cited for driving under an FRA suspension.

November 4
Jacob D. Donalon was charged with domestic violence and menacing.
Christopher S. C. Korns was cited for operation at a stop sign and failure to re-instate.

November 5
Courtney M. Hines was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Aaron Trask was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign.
Grace E. Mowery was cited for driving under an FRA suspension.

Richard K. Hill was cited for driving under suspension – all other suspensions.
Grace E. Dpowmes was cited for speed.

November 6
Travis D. Lonsinger was cited for expired license plates, driving under the influence, and OVI – .17 or more of alcohol per 210 liters of breath.

November 7
Komptan M. Kegley was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Deborah J. Cox was cited for an improper left turn at an intersection.
