The Knox County Park District invites you to engage in our GeoTrails! What is a Geotrail you ask? It is a series of geocaches hidden throughout a scenic area for you to explore and locate. Our “All Aboard” trail takes you on a journey on the Knox County multi-use trails while you learn the history behind the once-occupied Pennsylvania railroad. Geocachers begin the search on the Heart of Ohio trail in Centerburg and end up at the Bridge of Dreams on the Mohican Valley Trail in Brinkhaven.
At each geocache, an entry log is required and a QR code scan is optional. The scan provides you with some information and facts about each location as well as unlocks a coupon for discounts or freebies from local businesses. Upon completion of the trail, a short quiz is available to test your knowledge on what you have learned about Knox County. If you pass the quiz, you will receive one of the Geocoins pictured as a reward. We still have many left!
