Today the Court received information of an alleged jury service scam in Knox County. A person called to jury duty received a telephone call and the caller falsely stated a warrant had been issued for the juror’s arrest. The caller demanded Moneygram cards to cancel the warrant. DO NOT send money to anyone making a claim like this. IT’S A SCAM. Call the Mount Vernon Police Dept. if you receive a call from a jury duty scammer.
