Offenses

September 8
A business on South Main Street reported a theft that occurred on one of their transport vehicles.

A female who lives on East Gambier Road reported a theft from her residence.

September 9
An officer did a registration check on a vehicle that was parked in the McDonald’s parking lot on Newark Road which came back as a stolen vehicle. Contact was made with a male and female inside the vehicle and detained. This report will be forwarded to the Knox County Prosecutor’s Office for charges.

Officers responded to a disturbance on Ash Street where Xavier Mason was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and was arrested on a probation violation. He was transported to the Knox County Jail. The report was forwarded to the Knox County Prosecutor for review.

Tessa Akers was transported to the Knox Community Hospital. Akers was later arrested and charged with obstruction of official business and menacing.

September 10
An officer received a call referencing a theft from West High Street. A report was taken.

An officer received a call from a complainant referencing abuse on South Main Street. A report was taken.

September 11
An Officer responded to Coshocton Avenue on a reported vehicle that needed to be removed from the lot. Blubaugh towing removed the vehicle to their lot and will assess a $129.00 tow fee and a $12.00 a day storage fee. A report was taken.

An officer made contact with a male at Riverside Park due to the park being closed from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The male gave consent to search his bag and a glass pipe with white residue was located. Jonathon Hinger was issued a summon for possession of drug paraphernalia.

September 12
Officers were dispatched to Beech Street on a report of a male dressed in black that smashed out the window on the door of the golf course as well as a window on a truck cap. The male, Matthew A. Knipp, was located in the area of the Hiawatha pool parking lot and taken into custody. A report was taken and charges filed.

Raymond J. Sanders was cited for operation at a stop sign.
Mikah C. Jeffery was cited for changing lanes without safety.
Ronald K. Looney was cited for full time and attention.

September 9
Tessa Akers was charged with menacing and obstructing official business.
Alyssa M. Cox was cited for failure to display license plates

September 10
Barbara A. Rine was cited for obey traffic control devices.

September 11
Joshua T. Baldridge was cited for driving under suspension.

September 12
Matthew A. Knipp was charged with resisting arrest and criminal mischief.
Kimberly Knight was cited for operator/chauffeur license required.
