September 1
A suspect, Jason B. Crook, was the subject of a call of a suspicious person with the Mount Vernon Police Department. The Mount Vernon Police Department advised the Sheriff’s Office that they were out with Crook and held him until a Sheriff’s Deputy arrived and made contact with him. Crook was placed under arrest for failing to register his address as required in the State of Ohio for sexual offenders.

August 31
Deputies were advised by dispatch of a complainant wanting to check to see if his travel trailer had been towed from his Fredericktown address. The complainant did not know how long it had been taken. Deputies checked and could not find any record of it being towed. The complainant then wanted to report a theft. Not having any of the information, the complainant was contacted several days later to gather the information and to file a report.

A complainant contacted Knox County Sheriff’s Office regarding a theft from their vehicle.

A victim came to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to report someone was hacking into his phone. A report has been done for documentation.
