Clinton Township Water and Sewer District increasing rates by $5 monthly

MOUNT VERNON – The Board of the Clinton Township Water and Sewer District has increased its district fees for customers by $5 a month. The increase was passed by resolution in May 2021, and the new rates went into effect in August 2021. The change will be reflected in Clinton Sewer and Water District utility bills scheduled to be sent out by the City of Mount Vernon on Aug. 31.
We encourage customers to sign up for electronic billing or Auto Pay. Customers can register for Auto Pay by calling the City Water Office at 740-393-9504. Customers can have bills sent by email by 1) writing their email address on their bill; 2) by emailing their request for electronic bills directly to the Water Office at waterclk4@mountvernonohio.org; or 3) by calling the Water Billing Office.
