Shaw Sentenced to 4-6 Years for CES Robbery

Jerad Shaw, 40, of Mount Vernon, was sentenced to an indefinite term of 4-6 years in prison for his St. Patrick’s Day robbery of the CES Credit Union on West Chestnut Street.
Shaw entered the credit union and displayed a replica gun before leaving with approximately $3,000. He was apprehended minutes later with the money after witnesses pointed him out to police.
Shaw will serve a 3 year term of post-release control after his prison sentence. The case was investigated by Ptl. Justin Trowbridge and Det. Lt. Beth Marti.
