July 26
Deputies were dispatched to the area of New Guilford Road near Clay Street in Bladenseburg on a possible vehicle crash involving an intoxicated male. A complainant called in and advised that a male individual was driving West on New Guilford Road and lost control of his vehicle striking a parked vehicle causing disabling damage to both vehicles. Deputies were able to make contact with the male driver and determined that he was under the influence of alcoholic beverages and marijuana. Standard Field Sobriety Tests were conduct and the male individual, Quander L. Farmer, was eventually placed under arrest for OVI and transported to the Knox County jail.

A deputy was advised of a bicycle theft complaint to be handled by phone. Dispatch transferred the caller to the deputy and contact was made.

A complainant called the Knox County Sheriff’s Office and reported that they had caught someone on their property trying to steal items from the property. Deputies arrived and spoke with the property owner and the suspect. The suspect, Ethan A. Silliman, was issued a summons for trespassing and issued a court date.

A deputy was dispatched to West Scott Lane in Gambier on a stolen bicycle complaint. I responded to this location and made contact with the victim/complainant.
