July 22
A deputy was notified by dispatch of a stolen bicycle in the Village of Gambier. The call was handled by phone.
Deputies responded to an injured deer in the roadway on Newark Road. The deer was located and dispatched.
Caller advised that he found his roommate unconscious in his room and believed he had overdosed and CPR was in progress.
July 23
A deputy stopped a vehicle for expired registration and fictitious plates. It was found that the driver, Katherine L. Hadnot, had an active warrant for her arrest out of the Mount Vernon Municipal Court. Hadnot was arrested and during the vehicle inventory, drug paraphernalia was located. Hadnot was cited for the fictitious plates and possession of drug paraphernalia. The vehicle was towed to On the Spot towing and the driver was taken to the Knox County Jail on the warrants.
