Michael Daley age 26 of Danville was issued a traffic citation for failure to file annually & was instructed to not drive the vehicle until the issue is taken care of. About an hour later, Daley was observed driving the same vehicle. Officers attempted to stop Daley and Daley fled. A vehicle pursuit ensued going through several Village streets. Daley eventually lost control and crashed his vehicle. Daley was transported by the Emergency Squad to KCH where, after treatment, he was arrested and taken to the Knox County Jail. OSP responded to handle the crash report. Officers discovered that after Daley had been issued the first citation, he had gone to his residence on East Main Street and allegedly was involved in some sort of physical altercations with family members. Allegedly after the physical altercations, Daley got into his vehicle and attempted to hit his family members and allegedly he purposely rammed into a family member’s vehicle then he left the area which is when Daley was observed again by the Danville officers and the vehicle pursuit ensued. Daley was issued an additional traffic citation for failure to file annually, and additional charges will be forthcoming
