Tucker, Deshong Sentenced to Prison

Laura Tucker, 33, formerly of Mount Vernon was sentenced to 17 months in prison for grand theft, a felony of the fourth degree. She admitted to taking money from an estate where she served as executor and not making payments to parties to parties who were owed money by the estate.

She was ordered to pay restitution in excess of $23,000. The case was investigated by KCSO Dep. Shari Rice.
Stephen Deshong, 35, of Mount Vernon, was sentenced to 14 months in prison for aggravated trafficking in drugs, a felony of the fourth degree. Deshong was found in possession of methamphetamine, scales and other drug paraphernalia during a March traffic stop in Mount Vernon. The case was investigated by MVPD Ptl. Joshua Neely.
