The Village of Fredericktown is partnering with Morris Township in performing routine maintenance on the Owl Creek Ped/Bike Trail. Without trimming vegetation back on a routine basis, the trail would be impassable for bicyclists and pedestrians within a few years.
The Village and Morris Township have partnered on several routine maintenance projects over the past few years and we’ve done the same with Wayne Township, the City of Mount Vernon, and the Knox County Engineer, as well. Inter-governmental partnerships can easily save taxpayers thousands of dollars on each project.
