Knox County Construction Update

State Route 13 road widening and related work – This project includes roadway widening and other upgrades on SR 13 between James Street and Franklin Street. Estimated project completion is November 30, 2021.

  • New impacts: Beginning Tuesday, July 6, southbound traffic on SR 13/Sandusky St. will be detoured by way of SR 95 WB to SR 314 SB to SR 229 EB for roadway construction on SR 13/Sandusky St. between Franklin St. and James St. One-way northbound SR 13/Sandusky St. traffic will be maintained through the project.

At the same time, Belmont Avenue will be closed at SR 13/Sandusky Street as well. The detour for the Belmont Avenue closure will be Cassil Street to Sunset Street.
