The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the pursuit and crash of a vehicle that began late Sunday night. During the pursuit, a sheriff’s office cruiser was rammed by the suspect, who eventually crashed on Lower Gambier Rd. The suspect then fled on foot, leaving an injured female in the vehicle.
Officers are looking for Nicholas M Hamilton age 23, from Mount Vernon. He has a prior felony warrant, in addition to charges that will be filed as a result of his actions on Sunday night. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
