Offenses

June 16
An officer was advised of the theft of a bicycle on West Gambier Street. A written statement was collected and a report was taken.

June 17
An officer was dispatched to the police department in reference to a theft of a bicycle from East Ohio Avenue. Upon arrival, the officer spoke to the complainant, who stated that someone stole her granddaughter’s tricycle from the yard. A written statement was collected and a report was taken.

June 18
An officer responded to a business on West Gambier Street in reference to a theft.

June 19
An officer responded to a residence on Ridgewood Avenue in reference to a domestic violence incident. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with the victim who stated that the suspect had slapped her across the face. Charges were filed in reference to the incident.

an officer responded to a suspicious person complainant on Coshocton Avenue.

An officer responded to the Follin Avenue Apartments on a theft complaint. A report was filed for this alleged incident. The complainant was advised of the information required to proceed with this investigation. Once the documents are provided the investigation will be completed.

June 20
An officer was dispatched to Martinsburg Road, Mount Vernon High School, on a report of a theft. The complainant advised that sometime between 11:00 AM on June 17th and 11:00 AM on June 18th unknown person(s) cut the catalytic converter off of a 2017 Ford box truck exhaust system. They reviewed the security footage but were unable to observe the area the truck was parked in. The complainant needed a report to turn the claim in on the insurance.

Officers responded to a potential burglary in progress on Ridgewood Avenue.

Amy M. Loman was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Sarah Burns was cited for driving under an FRA suspension.
Edward A Hoover Jr. was cited for speed.
Troy S. Doup was cited for failure to reinstate and operation at a stop sign.
Lee S. Schuch Jr. was cited for failure to reinstate.

June 20
Anthony A. Jordan was cited for red light and driving under suspension.
Clayton J. W. Smith was cited for red light.
