June 15
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in Mount Vernon on a female threatening suicide with a gun. The female was ordered out of the front door where deputies were eventually able to speak with the female. EMS was then called to transport the female to KCH for evaluation. A report was taken.

June 16
An abandoned vehicle was located in the roadway on Murray Road near Newark Road. Attempted contact with the vehicle owner was unsuccessful and the vehicle was towed by On The Spot Towing.

Deputies received a call from the complainant advising an individual on Johnson Avenue, in Mount Vernon, was borrowing his truck and refused to give it back. Deputies made contact with the individual borrowing the truck and an investigation was completed. The vehicle and documents concerning the vehicle were collected as evidence and the report will be forwarded to the City Law Director for review.

A deputy was notified of a fraud complaint and the complainant wanted to speak by phone. Dispatch transferred the complainant to the deputy and contact was made. A report was filed for unemployment fraud.

A caller reported three of his business trucks were broken into and items were taken. A report was taken for documentation.

A complainant contacted the Sheriff’s Office in reference to her vehicle not being returned after she lent it to another individual. A report was made and the vehicle was entered as an unauthorized use.

Knox County Dispatch advised that they had received several calls about a male attempting suicide by laying in the street and jumping in front of cars. The male subject was highly intoxicated and was transported to the Knox Community Hospital for treatment. The male subject was issued a summons for under age consumption.

A complainant advised that scammers masquerading as customer service took control of her computer and phone. A report was made for documentation.
