June 1
Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Broadway Street in Mount Vernon on a possible drug overdose. While on-scene deputies identified a male individual, Victor J. Orndorff, at the residence that had an outstanding warrant out of Knox County. Orndorff was placed under arrest and transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.

A complainant called to report that an unknown person(s) removed the catalytic converter off the bus that the business owns that was having repairs done to it.

The Village of Centerburg advised that they had a check returned to them that was cashed for $ 1630.00 that was not written.

June 2
A deputy conducted a traffic stop at Glen Road and Martinsburg Road in Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050. During the investigation, it was discovered the driver of the vehicle, Shawn M. Grennell, was driving under suspension and in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. Grennell also had a nationwide warrant for his arrest from Licking County. Grennell was issued a citation and placed under arrest and transported to Utica. A Utica Officer took custody of Grennell. The vehicle was towed from the traffic stop location and all deputies cleared the scene.
