April 23
A Deputy was dispatched to Kenyon College of a report of found drug paraphernalia. The items were collected and placed in evidence for disposal.

A complainant advised that he found a bicycle on the bike path and wanted to turn it in.

April 24
A complainant called the Sheriff’s Office to report that sometime overnight, person(s) unknown caused damage to a window on his vehicle.v
A non-offense victim called 911 to report that he was having feelings of harming himself. The Central Ohio Joint Fire District arrived and the subject was willing to voluntarily go to Knox Community Hospital for an evaluation. The subject was transported without incident and a report was made for documentation and CIT form was completed.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Bryant Road in the Fredericktown area. The caller advised that their child had spit on them and threatened to kill them and another family member. Deputies arrived on the scene and detained the juvenile suspect. After speaking with the caller and the juvenile suspect; the juvenile suspect was taken into custody and transported to a juvenile detention facility without incident. Charges of aggravated menacing and disorderly conduct were filed.

A complainant called the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to report that while he was at the Kokosing Gap Bike Trail in Howard Ohio, person(s) unknown removed the catalytic converter off of his vehicle.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence in Fredericktown, Ohio, on a complaint of a dog bite. The complainant, while riding his bike was bitten on the leg on Cassell Road. The complainant wanted a report to document the incident in case it becomes a constant problem since he rides in the area.

A complainant reported that while she was at the Kokosing Bike Trail from Howard Ohio, person(s) unknown cut the catalytic converter off of her vehicle.

A complainant called to report that the suspect, Glenn E. Steele, was extremely intoxicated and causing issues at the home.

April 25
A complainant called the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to report that their bicycle was stolen sometime between April 23, 2021 and April 25, 2021. A report was filed and the bicycle was listed in LEADS as stolen. At
this time there are no suspects in this case.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on East Walnut Street in Danville on the report of a disturbance. Deputies arrived on the scene and spoke with those who were involved as well as witnesses. Statements were collected and a report was filed. The parties were warned on their conduct and advised that the report will be forwarded to the Mount Vernon City Prosecutors Office for review.
Deputies responded to a residence on Roosevelt Avenue on an inactive disturbance. Contact was made with the involved parties and they were separated. A report was sent to Adult Protective Services due to an ongoing investigation.

Deputies responded to a gas station on West Sandusky Street in Fredericktown, Ohio 43019 on an elderly male that was lost. Deputies arrived on the scene and made contact with the male. Deputies contacted the male’s son who lives in Canton. Medics arrived on the scene and checked the elderly male’s health. Deputies waited on the scene with the male while his son came from Canton to Fredericktown to pick up his father.

A complainant contacted Knox County Sheriff’s Office regarding a suspicious person.
