Governor DeWine Orders Flags Lowered in Honor of U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Kyle McKee

 

(COLUMBUS, Ohio)—In honor of the life and service of U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Kyle McKee of Lake County, who was killed on November 12, 2020, in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula, Governor DeWine has ordered that U.S. and Ohio flags be flown at half-staff upon all public buildings and grounds throughout Lake County and at the Ohio Statehouse, the Vern Riffe Center, and the Rhodes State Office Tower in Columbus from sunrise to sunset on the day of his memorial, Saturday, April 24, 2021.

All other public buildings and grounds throughout the state may fly the flags of the United States and the State of Ohio at half-staff at their discretion for the same time period.
